                <text>On New Year’s Eve, 1999, Denver’s Brown Palace Hotel revealed its grand Millennium Clock hanging in the lobby. The griffins on either side were designed to reflect the griffins found on the Brown Palace’s logo. This miniature replica of the Millennium Clock was given to hotel guests to celebrate the unveiling of the clock on the eve of the new millennium. Both the full-scale and replica clocks were designed by artist Robert Shure.</text>
