Description

The Telechron "Telalarm" was featured in the August 1931 issue of the Telechronicle. Like the similar "Alarm Lite", Model 711 featured an illuminated dial with a switch on the rear of the case to activate it. It features the same case as its related model with the addition of ribs on the lower front of the case. The silver metal case was patented by its designer George Graff. It features a black Bakelite base and an off-white dial. The clock features an "indicating device" which would turn red to alert its owner of a power outage. 105,977 were sold during its 1931-1936 run.
