Telechron 'Cathedral'

Title

Telechron 'Cathedral'

Description

This brown plastic clock stands 7-1/4" tall and was known as the "Cathedral". Manufactured from 1927 to 1932 it has a silvered dial with black numerals and hands. Interesting fact: the original price was $25.00 for Model 355, but dropped to $9.95 during the 1929 stock market crash. 100,074 were sold. The clock features an "indicating device" which would turn red to alert its owner of a power outage. Second example in the collection.
